A native of Monticello, Indiana, Coach Tean Reames serves as the Defensive Line Coach at Bethel College in Kansas. Entering his fourth season in collegiate coaching, Reames has quickly established himself as a passionate teacher of the game with a commitment to developing disciplined, fundamentally sound football players and impactful young men.
Before joining Bethel, Reames spent two seasons (2024–2026) as the Linebackers Coach at Anderson University in Indiana. During his tenure, the Ravens captured the Bronze Ball Trophy in both seasons, and Reames coached multiple All-Conference linebackers while helping build one of the conference's top defensive units. While coaching at Anderson, he earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2026, demonstrating his commitment to professional growth and lifelong learning.
Reames began his collegiate coaching career in 2024 as a Student Assistant Coach at Greenville University before joining the Anderson coaching staff.
A graduate of North White High School in Monon, Indiana, Reames was a four-year varsity linebacker before continuing his playing career at Greenville University. As a four-year linebacker for the Panthers, he earned Academic All-Conference honors for three consecutive seasons. During the 2021 season, he helped lead Greenville to the program's first outright conference championship and the school's first-ever NCAA Division III playoff berth. Reames graduated from Greenville in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management.

He is dedicated to developing complete student-athletes who excel on the field, succeed in the classroom, and become leaders in their communities. By fostering a culture of toughness, excellence, and servant leadership, Reames strives to prepare his players for success both during and after their football careers.
