Wichita, Kan- The Bethel College dance team kicked off its season with a strong performance at the Falcon Invite, hosted on January 18th. Under the guidance of Coach Kiley McCord, the team demonstrated significant growth, increasing their overall score by 10 points compared to last season.
"We had a good first competition," Coach McCord said. "The team came out strong and showed improvement, especially with hitting our turns in sync and incorporating new skills on the floor."
The Threshers earned 8th place in the event.. Moving forward, the team will focus on technical elements and formations in hopes of earning higher scores from the judges in future competitions. With clear progress and a commitment to improvement, the Thresher dance team is poised for a promising season ahead.
